Subject, verb, complement
and modifier
Subject is about what or who that explain in
sentence or clause. Subject can be a person, an animal, noun, or abstract
consep. Every complete subject based
on built by one or more noun or pronoun with or without additional modifier(s)
that can be article (the, an, a), adjective and prepositional phrase. There is
time when Gerund and infinite can be replace subject position. Simple subject is noun or single
pronoun with set aside its modifier(s), meanwhile can be verb or single
compound verb.

Verb
Verb is explaining about action from subject
that show us about event or condition. Verb is the one of eight part of speech.
Verb in english isn’t always has form into simple (one word) but rather maybe
can be frase combination result with particle into phrasal verb (get in. Make
up, read over).
Several kind of verb that can
explain below:
- Transitive and intransitive : transitive follow by direct object ( exp : the boy kicked the ball) meanwhile intrasitive isn’t (exp:cheryl often sneezes while cleaning
- Regular and irregular : in regular form past tense and participle can get with additional suffix-ed on base form meanhwhile in irregular form has more variation
- Action and stative : action (eat, play, Etc) explain about if something happen meanwhile stative (love, need) explain about condition that tent to constant.
- Finite and non-finite: finite influce by tense and subject –verb agreement manwhile non-infinite isn’t.
- Linking verb : its connecting subject of sentence with its description.
- Causative : the verb for explain thta subject isn’t take responsible directly toward action that will happen.
Compliment
Compliment usually can be form by noun or noun
phrase and its position after verb on active sentence. In complement usually
for answer the question that relation with what or whom .

Modifier
Modifier explaining about time, place, or manner from an action. General
form of modifier is prepositional phrase. Modifier usually for answer the
question from when, where, or how.
Example
Where
did john buy book fair ?
John bought a book at book fair

She is driving very fast

When

I posted my application yesterday
